FIX CRASHED GEAR

Here are some photos of “crashed” gear:

A low solvent concentration in the formulation causes “crashing.” To develop ‘healthier’ blends, we’ve been attempting to lower the amount of solvent (Benzyl Benzoate, Guaiacol, and Ethyl Oleate) in our formulas. Making certain gear “crash proof” is simple —This is a common occurrence in commercial pharma. In fact, certain preparations are completely dissolved in Ethyl Oleate! This appears to us to be taking the easy way out. It looks nice, never crashes, is incredibly thin/easy to take, and usually doesn’t cause any symptoms until ‘later,’ unless the patient has allergies or sensitivities, which are common. In any case, long-term exposure to these solvents is not recommended, thus we advocate for a “less-is-better” strategy.

If your product appears crashed, it can be fixed quite easily. Please follow this procedure:

Boil some water in a pan.

Remove pan from heat.

Put your vial into a Ziploc bag.

Dip the Ziploc bag into the boiling water for a few minutes until the liquid in the vial becomes clear.

Safely remove the bag with tongs, then allow to cool.

Whatever you do, please DO NOT MICROWAVE the vial at any stage. If you continue to experience issues obtaining a uniform appearance, please open a ticket with us to discuss.
